Paul Scholla

Paul is a seasoned management executive with over 35 years of experience in the manufacturing and food service industries. He was employed as an internal auditor by Marriott Corporation, which exposed him to all aspects of Marriott’s hotel, restaurant and food service operations and later received his MBA and CPA. Paul rose up through the ranks and later served as CFO of Marriott’s In-Flite Services Division in Latin America (acquired by Sodexho (Sodexo) Alliance in 1998). Before joining Bumblefish, Paul worked for 20 years for Baker Hughes Incorporated where he was Manager of International Accounting, Corporate Accountant, and for 12 years as the CEO of Baker Hughes subsidiaries in Mexico. Paul is fluent in Spanish.
James Dickey
Managing Partner, Vice President
James is an restaurant industry veteran with nearly 20 years of experience managing all aspects of Japanese full-service restaurants. Before joining Bumblefish, James was Managing Director and President of California Beach Restaurant Group where he had operational responsibilities of restaurants in Hawaii and California. Previously, James worked for J.W. Marriott and Prince Hotel Group in Los Angeles, Honolulu and Tokyo where he was Hotel Assistant General Manager. James has a Bachelors of Arts in East Asian Language and Cultures with a minor in Business Administration. He earned a Monbusho Scholarship from the Japan Ministry of Education and studied Japanese language extensively at Nagoya University. James is fluent in Japanese.

You will be responsible for creating strategic initiatives for operational improvement, as well as working with field leadership and team members to execute operational initiatives in a measurable, transformative way. This unique position offers a broad level of involvement in key operational systems in an effort to optimize financial and operational performance. This role will provide leadership focus on internal and customer service as well as building Bumblefish sales and profits while ensuring compliance with the brand, policies and procedures. In order to be considered for this unique opportunity candidates must possess a Bachelors degree in Business or a related field; MBA preferred, with years of experience in a management role.
